【Contemporary Circus for Theatres Workersワーカーズ！】
What if carpentry became circus?! An ambitious work combining Japanese craftspeople’s culture with contemporary circus.
“Building” becomes circus.
To the rhythm of percussion, circus artists construct wooden structures on stage,
climb them, hang from them, and perform a succession of feats.
The structures created by master woodworkers use not a single nail— they are truly three-dimensional puzzles.
From a distance that heightens the sense of immediacy, we invite you to enjoy the power, as well as the strength and beauty of the circus artists’ bodies!
Tours of theatres and other venues across Japan begin in 2025!
